Control Unit 5-speed SMG
The transmission control unit (ECU / TCU) is the main computer responsible for the control of the 5-speed SMG.

Pressure Sensor 5-speed SMG
The pressure sensor measures the hydraulic pressure in the accumulator. Based on this value, the SMG enables and disables the hydraulic pump to fill up pressure. This is a brand-new original part.

Clutch Solenoid Valve 5-speed SMG
The clutch solenoid valve (marked with ‘QPV’) is responsible for actuating the clutch in the SMG system. A faulty valve can cause problems with clutch engagement, such as shuddering, delayed and harsh engagement, or even a complete failure of clutch actuation.

Shift Sensor 5-speed SMG
This sensor is located on top of the gearbox and responsible to monitor the shift process. Our sensors are brand-new OE aftermarket replacement parts.

Selection Sensor 5-speed SMG
This sensor is located on top of the gearbox and responsible to monitor the shift process. Our sensors are brand-new OE aftermarket replacement parts.

Shift Solenoid Valve 5-speed SMG
The shift solenoid valves (marked ‘PPV’) are responsible for engaging the gears in the SMG gearbox. There are two of these pressure-proportional valves mounted on the hydraulic unit. Working in conjunction with the selection valve, they operate the shift actuator. If either valve is faulty, the car may be unable to engage one or more gears.
